Revelation 2:22-29

Message to the Church in Thyatira

22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The Letter to Thyatira

22I am going to strike down Jezebel. Everyone who does these immoral things with her will also be punished, if they don't stop. 23 I will even kill her followers.+ Then all the churches will see that I know everyone's thoughts and feelings. I will treat each of you as you deserve.

24Some of you in Thyatira don't follow Jezebel's teaching. You don't know anything about what her followers call the “deep secrets of Satan.” So I won't burden you down with any other commands. 25But until I come, you must hold firmly to the teaching you have.

26 I will give power over the nations to everyone who wins the victory and keeps on obeying me until the end. 27-28I will give each of them the same power my Father has given me. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash those nations to pieces like clay pots. I will also give them the morning star.+

29If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

22볼지어다 내가 그를 침상에 던질 터이요 또 그로 더불어 간음하는 자들도 만일 그의 행위를 회개치 아니하면 큰 환난 가운데 던지고 23또 내가 사망으로 그의 자녀를 죽이리니 모든 교회가 나는 사람의 뜻과 마음을 살피는 자인 줄 알지라 내가 너희 각 사람의 행위대로 갚아주리라 24두아디라에 남아 있어 이 교훈을 받지 아니하고 소위 사단의 깊은 것을 알지 못하는 너희에게 말하노니 다른 짐으로 너희에게 지울 것이 없노라 25다만 너희에게 있는 것을 내가 올 때까지 굳게 잡으라 26이기는 자와 끝까지 내 일을 지키는 그에게 만국을 다스리는 권세를 주리니 27그가 철장을 가지고 저희를 다스려 질그릇 깨뜨리는 것과 같이 하리라 나도 내 아버지께 받은 것이 그러하니라 28내가 또 그에게 새벽 별을 주리라 29귀있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다

나는 그녀를 침대에 던질 것이다. 그녀가 죄를 지은 침대와 그 옆의 침대, 안락함과 쾌락의 침대가 아니라, 고통과 괴로움의 침대입니다. 

그녀의 유혹에 넘어간 자들도 피하지 못할 것이며, 하나님의 더 직접적인 손이나, 사람들의 손에서 나오는 큰 환난과, 양심의 고통과 괴로움이나, 더 큰 육체적인 고통에 빠지게 될 것입니다.  

그들이 자신들의 행위를 회개하지 않는다면; 
이것은 하나님의 심판에 관한 모든 위협을 의미하며, 그런 심판의 집행은 일반적으로 회개함으로 막을 수 있습니다. 몹시 나쁜 죄인들에게 회개할 자리를 주시는 하나님의 인내가 바로 이런 것입니다.

I will cast her into a bed; another kind of bed than she hath sinned in and by, not a bed of ease and pleasure, but of pain and torment. Nor shall the seduced escape, they shall also be cast into

great tribulation, pains and torments of conscience, or afflictions more corporal, either from the more immediate hand of God, or the hands of men.

Except they repent of their deeds; this is to be supposed to all God’s threatenings of judgments, the execution of them ordinarily may be prevented by repentance, and such is the patience of God, that he gives the vilest sinners a space to repent.
